Greetings,

There appear to be a few of problems with the article \"A Guide to the FL-50\" in the \"4/3 accessories\" section.

First, the article is full of formatting errors and missing images. Perhaps this is a result of the transfer to the new website.

Second, the instructions state that the AF illuminator of the FL-50 should be set to the automatic mode (ILL = A) for both indoor and outdoor use. As far as I\'m aware the AF illuminator is irrelevant to the operation of the FL-50 in either environment. It is an aid for the autofocus (AF) system under low ambient light and has no effect on the exposure.

I recommend changing the text and tables in the article to show that it doesn\'t matter what \"ILL\" is set to. It can be set to either \"A\" or \"Off\".

Third, The photo and name of Lawrence Keeney at the end of the article is not explained. Tony is listed as the author so why is Lawrence pictured?

I hope these comments are helpful.

thanks for point those out. I had ported the article over from the old site. I had added some pictures that show up in Firefox but not in Safari.
I am working at correcting those.
#2 - Lawrence had written the article, I was just porting it over. I was waiting until he reregistered to put his name on it. (This week he is in Cabo doing a photo shot.)
#3 about the ILL=A I will personally investigate this one further. I have no opinion on the matter as of now.
Thanks for point out the errors. They are very helpful.

Thanks for putting this article back up. For those that it may effect, these setting seem to work very well with the E-300 and FL-36 although only having one command dial on the flash means it takes a little more navigating than the FL-50. See Confetti and Flower Boy in my gallery and see if you agree.
