I just did a 10 minute comparison between Bibble 4.3a (windows) and Silkypix v2.0 English. I used the \"flower\" image from Tony. I tried to keep all settings as similar as possible:
WB: 5200K
contrast: average/normal
tone: average/normal
sharpening: 150% in bibble, \"a little strong\" in silkypix
EV: +1EV
colorspace: sRGB

results (note, full-sized JPGs ahead!):

silkypix (http://stuff.marcof.net/rawflower_silkypix_20E.jpg)
2560 x 1920 Pixels (4.92 MPixels)

bibble (http://stuff.marcof.net/rawflower_bibble_43a.jpg)
2616 x 1958 Pixels (5.12 MPixels)

still \"too much\" red in the bibble image
funny how the sizes differ..

note that when zoomed out to maybe 30%, the bibble image shows some kind of moire pattern, while the silky one doesn\'t
the EXIF of bibble output is not as complete as the silky output.

You are right, still to much red. I don\'t know why most 3rd party Raw converters have this problem. Even ACR..... It is a pain. Because then you have to go to fiddle with the images. This takes time.

I tried Bibble and was did not like it, compared to other converters out there.

I have found the pattern in RSE and Capture One. It seems there are some RAW applications that have not solved this problem with Oly RAW files. PhotoShop had this problem about a year ago but they were able to solve it.

The pattern in the image is why I do not use RSE or have purchased Capture One.

Silkypix seems to have solved the problem and that is the one I use exclusivel now.

I have very infrequently seen the pattern in C1 or RSE, and then only under viewing it at or near 100%. Have not noticed it on any prints though.
