Tony
Finally I managed to get things working from my end, as you know. One thing that now keeps cropping up is the dreaded \'page expired\' notification. This always happens if you don\'t use the menus (sometimes even then), but if you choose instead to use the \'back\' button, which can be convenient.
I\'ve come across this before and, from memory, it has something to do with the settings in PHP BB, which can be changed so that you can don\'t have to refresh. I think it\'s one of the session controls.
But don\'t quote me, as I have no idea how PHP BB works.
Cheers

Just another note. When I go to the galleries, the menu is all distorted and scruntched up to the left of the screen. Does anyone else have this problem?
Cheers

I think I do have a fix. It worked on 2 sites for the menus that I have in the works... Um I am just afraid to do a fix. It may screw something up.
WE are not using PHPBB... A different program. I am working on that too.

OK, the similarity to PHP BB is uncanny. Whatever, don\'t make changes in the wee hours of the night or morning, it\'s always fraught with danger.
It\'s not major broken or anything, so take your time. This is where a mirrored development site is most valuable. Work out bugs and then update.

Going back after posting a reply seems to repost the reply again. I usually do this in all other forums and this is the first time it has actually done this.

A similar thing happened to me. After I clicked on the \"Submit\" button to post a reply, an error page appeared. I thought that the error refered to the post and I used my \"Back\" button to return and click \"Submit\" again. The result was two posts!!! Evidently the error page was just saying that the next page could not be displayed and it did not refer my submission.
