All,

I have had my E-300 now for about a month. I thought I would relate some of my expeirences. Until I bought the E-300 I had never handled a dSLR before in fact I had bearly used a P&S. It was on my honeymoon taking pictures with my wifes P&S I realized I could really grow to like this.

The first thing that I noticed with the E-300 and the thing that sold me on it in the end was the build. It exudes quality. I tried a bunch of other camers; only the D70s came close to feeling as good and it was considerably more money. So the two lense kit plus the price and the feel and the dust buster sold me.

I thought I had made a good buy, but it gets better. I cant believe how reactive this camera is, or how easy it is to use. Then I discovered the pictures, it took me awhile to realize how good a picture it takes. I am no pro and the first admit it but I really enjoy my pictures.

I would recommend using RAW to anyone, not because I think the image quality is any better but because I love the control. It gives my confidence to worry about taking more and getting everything right less. I just shot what looks good to me.

Well I hoped you liked my ramble. Here are some of the first pictures I have taken with my E-300. Be kind as I am really new at this.

Hey, just enjoy the camera & the results. Being a pro is having to make the shots, weather/situation/location notwithstanding.

Welcome. I was checking out your gallery. I have invited you to join the fourthirdsphoto community at smugmug. I like smugmug a lot. More than Pbase, but that is a personal opinion.
I check that every once in a while.
Anyhow, a couple of notes:
to post a URL you hit the Url button (url)link.com here(/url) (and then hit it a gain.)
Sorry I will look at updating the forum at some point.
#2. I would encourage you to post pictures and ask for comments.
That is the best way to get better. Some people you can blow it off, others you will learn stuff from.
