\"imho some of the 100% crops at F2 shown in that review are a bit unsharp because they are simply not inside the extremly shallow DOF at F2,0.
So I would recommend to take that review with some care.\" - Cephalotus

Pros: Incredible sharpness, saturation, and tone. Amazing line and edge definition. It's like shooting with a completely different camera!!
Cons: Heavy!
Paid $2199
This is the best lens I own.
I use it with my E3 and the images coming out of it are like they came from a different camera. Literally!
I own pretty much all of the "High Grade" lenses from Olympus, and I've always wondered "How much better can a Super High Grade possibly be???" So I built up some funds to find out. I chose this Super High Grade for a specific reason you may want to consider for yourself. The focal range is perfect! Not too close on the wide end, and more than close enough on the long end. When doing indoor or general close proximity candid shooting, my 50-200mm always put me WAY too close on the wide and, and was longer than I needed it to be on the long end. Other Super High Grades were all too long and if I'm paying 2 grand (or more) for a lens I don't want to be limited to using it only for telephoto. The 35-100mm was a good all-around range. Another reason I wanted to go with a Super High Grade (any of them) was the fixed F2.0. I hate sacrificing f-stops whenever I need to zoom in. It's a great luxury to be at 2.0 (if I choose to be) no matter where I am in the zoom range. And f2.0 is better than f2.8 if you want really nice Bokeh, or for low light shooting.
I have generally been shooting hand-held and I can tell you it's a little annoying because of the weight and size of the lens. But the quality I get out of it is worth the annoyance. Well worth it! And worth the cost of the lens, too. I would absolutely recommend this lens to anyone who does serious shooting and need a lens that performs well.
Good Luck!

Pro: Exelent color rendition & DOF controle.
Con: Heavy and bulky.
Price: € 1990,-
Comment:
Very usefull for close-up and mid-range shooting. It ads enormous on the 3D effect. In combo with E3 very sharp & subtle colors. Fast & accurate focussing. My best lens ever (as well as my 150F2)!

Pros: an incredible sharp lens with very good boketh on the open end,, the color is supurb,, I bought the lens to shoot indoor basketball and volleyball, need the f2.0,, my 12-60 just did not have the f stop to accomplish the task without high ISO which I try not to use,, on my E3 I find the lens to focus very quick and accurate with zero hunting,,
Cons: need a bigger baq now,, I knew the lens would have some heft to it as most all Oly pro lens do,, handles great on my monopod,, not the best for a carry around lens,,
price paid: $1675 from a fellow 4/3 site member
Other info: no barrel extension when changing mm,, love it,,

My review is mostly in reference with 14-35/2, as I just got the 35-100 5 days ago. (I got 14-35 first, and had to sell all HG lenses for 35-100/2). And I use it on the E-3+HLD4.
Pros:
- sharp all over the focal & aperture range (comparable to 14-35/2 & 50/2)
- near parfocal design, very fast zooming action without much focus work, excellent for action shots (similar with 14-35/2)
- focus limiter is very useful
- optically at par with 14-35/2
- beautifully balanced for the bulk, similar to 14-35/2. a joy to use!
- AF accuracy spot on! (better than 14-35/2)
- sweet bokeh!! i rate same as 14-35/2 and 50/2.
- color rendition is excellent, even in low light. I think this is the hallmark of SHG lenses.
- it doesn't change shape during focus + zooming. (14-35/2 extends from 22 to 14 and from 22 to 35 during zoom)
Cons:
- no SwD to match silence and speed of 14-35/2
- heavy and huge, problem is mostly for logistics rather than actual use!
- not very good at handling flare compared to 14-35/2.
- magnification is poor, but similar to 14-35/2. that's why 50/2 is valuable.
Paid: RM7900, or USD2200.
