Well you can't go in the spring and not take pictures of the scenery.

Now including the kids for some perspective.

And finally, the Great One herself, Denali. It's in the background BTW

Very nice images! I do note that you base your definition of Spring on how long the sun is above the horizon rather than on temperatures and absence of snow.

All very pretty, but the last one is just stunning. I especially like the pinkish lighting in the foreground. Between you and the Llpoolej family, Alaska is getting some good advertising this week.

The last one is very nice Lara, I just wonder why you shot it vertical?
Thanks for sharing.

I like the 3rd one best and the 4th as well (although I agree that horizontal might have been better on that one).
I like the 3rd because you have all the interesting elements so well ballanced along with the human perspective.

I shot it vertical because I thought horizontal the mountain in the back would be lost. It's so tall that it still shows even behind other mountains but in an horizontal picture, you would notice and emphasize the skyline that's in front.
Very impressive landscapes, Lara.
The last one is my favorite. That must be an enormous mountain in the back.
Just to get a sense of scale, are those actually trees in the lower half of the shot?

Yes those are spruce trees in the bottom.

Lara,
The pictures are trully beautiful. Brings back memories of our Alaska vacation. (Though we went in August - no snow on the ground.)
