May through August are very busy months for me! Here's a few of today's wedding. I like to take my camera with me to get some photos of the ceremony site and also a pic of me with the bride and groom for my book, so I don't have to bother them for one. Today we were in a beautiful canyon about 55 miles away from my home, with steep granite walls and a mix of pine and aspen forest. The thing that I found very charming was the care and attention that the friends and family had given to decorating the forest and the surroundings. There were lovely little touches everywhere.

This lovely waterfall is named appropriately, Bridal Veil Falls,
we passed it on the way to the ceremony site.

This candid was taken from across the meadow,
I like it because it shows the beauty of the surroundings.

My standard "book" photo - I just got the LightSphere,
I was impressed with how well it did diffusing the light.
This photo was taken well after the ceremony, in some
very deep canyon shadow just before the sunset!
The LightSphere was on the FL-36 and the 35mm
lens was on the camera.

Those are great pics! It looks like such a lovely setting for a wedding. Those decorations for the forest are so cool. :D

The pic of you three looks very natural, especially the lighting. It looks more like an afternoon shot w/ natural sun rather than a flash & diffuser. Did you use the self timer or did you have an assistnat?

Thank you for posting those - they are very cool!

Oops, you said your friend took it - sorry! I need to read more closely the first time.

Very nice shots, Heron. I like the waterfall a lot as a separate shot and the others as a series.
We do not have weddings like that.
We first get married "officially" at the town hall and afterwards in church.
Both ceremonies are usually on the same day, but not necessarily.
