Hi Bob, I like this one for the contrast between the warm reds of the rock and the cool blue of the sky which creates a nice colour perspective. It also has a nice atmospheric perspective.
Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful and breathtaking as always. So peaceful looking it must be overwhelming to see it in person. I'm not sure you understood my suggestion for the oversized photobook. Not as something to sell, but as your own keepsake of the trip or a gift for a family member. You could probably put 100 pics in it and have a lovely reminder of your awesome trip. They are hardcover, bound books....almost like the big picture books we read in the first grade. You'd be able to put your own text with each photo. I urge you to check it out.
Just amazing, has to be seen as big as possible, just amazing.

Thank you. I like the different coloring in the different layers of sediment.
You're right, I didn't have the proper interpretation of the book suggestion. This puts a different light on the idea that I'll have to think about. Currently, my immediate family gets bombarded with CD's full of my favorite images. You're suggestion may provide an alternative.

I'm sure other places do books as well, but this is the only one I know that does a 12x16 page.

It's beautiful, EB. I love the color gradations and the contrast of the hazy and muted background with the clear foreground.
You're right, it does, but we still have to consider all the folks who have dialup connections.
Well, it certainly looks interesting and the price is right. I'll have to think about the problem of uploading 200 MB on a slow dialup connection though.
Thank you. The colors are all natural, but have to be seen at sunrise or sunset in order for them to stand out like this. When the direct sunlight hits them they mostly fade except for the strong dark reds which are pretty constant in the Grand Canyon irrespective of lighting.
