Day at the zoo

Finally had a day off so spent some time at the zoo. Two realizations: I really want a longer lens and I really, really hate fences - makes shooting so much harder :(

That wolf looks more friendly than a hippo.

I don't know how it came to my mind but
two of my wisdomteeths was operated a
week ago, OUTCH !!

It was really hard to get a clear picture of the wolf - he kept running around and it was a pain to try to focus through the fence. No pics of big cats because they were all napping in their hideouts; it was just past feeding time so I guess I picked the wrong time for shooting :(

The hippo is actually a miniature one, about the size of a fullgrown pig. Still quite scary tho... :ohmy:

Good shots. I agree about the fences.
That look to that wolf really makes me feel sorry for him.
But being a dog owner I know it is in their nature to look that way. They know the benefits :D .
