I just got the EC14 and that would have gotten you just a little bit closer. Still a very nice shot though. The bird contrasts well against the background.

Thanks, you're right about the EC14, I would of like to gotten a bit closer but as it is it will be quite awhile before I am able to pick up anything else.

The ZD50-200 put quite a dent in my wallet but it was worth every dollar:cool:

Nice shot. The focus is spot on the bird.

My flight shots tend to be focused on the background as I use the autofocus only. Even using the center focus dot, they move too quickly for me to frame them and get the shot. With more practice, I'll get better. Thankfully digital film is cheap.

Have you tried cropping? You have enough pixels, at least for a good detailed crop for the internet.

Thanks Luke, I will like to do a crop. Believe it or not I have never done cropping, always meant to tho.

I still have alot of learning ahead of me especially trying to master raw files and photoshop.:smile:
