Hi All!

I have, for a while, been wondering why the image of the flower inside the camera in our masthead has the aspect ratio 3:2 (48x32 pixels²)? Maybe we had an infiltrator representing the dark forces at the site when that image was mocked up?

In any case, wouldn't it be better with an image of aspect ratio 4:3 at our most visible position?

But just maybe he is ahead of his time and know something we don't..:evilgrin:

But if you get right down to it you can't see the image on the filters anyway.

Looks narrow because of the angle of the mirror ...... I won't believe that there is any dark siders here

think about it once more... the angle of the mirror won't change the format of the reflected screen.

The conspiracy theory still lives...

I guess it is time for FL to explain that 3:2 image in the masthead...

Yeah... orc is "orch" in Swedish. It's not that easy to keep track of all linguistic subtleties...

Hi Jens,

:hysterical: Too funny!!! My original photo was relatively dark inside the camera and I think that I extended the width of the sunflower image too far. I was probably trying to make the image as big as possible for legibility---but it's been so long that I don't remember why. I'm certain that I never measured the aspect ratio so its 3:2 shape is unintentional. I'll have to crop the left and right edges a bit the next time that we need to update the masthead.
