I've had the 11-22mm for almost a month now, but I'm just starting to get the hang of it. It's really quite a bit different than any other lens I've used before, not that I have a lot of experience with different lenses.

Anyway, these were taken at the university where I work. Maybe they're not technically great shots (don't look at the levels on the one with my girlfriend in it!) but I like them.

Some lens flare on this next one, not totally surprising. I should have used the hood.

Don't look at the levels on this one, they're not right! But, I like the colors this way. Maybe I'll try editing it in Lightroom. UPDATE: I fixed this photo and replaced it in Flickr.

Anyway, it's obvious I'm still learning, not just about this lens, but about photography in general. C&C welcome.

I like them, they are simple but nice. Could you post the vital informations of the pictures (iso, f number, speed, exposure compensation...). Thanks!

Thanks! Here's the info, the EXIF info is also available on Flickr. In order of appearance:

Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture: f/9
Focal Length: 11 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: -1 EV

Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 11 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: -1 EV

Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/10
Focal Length: 11 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: -13/10 EV

As you can see, I've got a habit of bumping the exposure compensation down a bit. I've got to start watching that, and paying more attention to the histogram on the camera, as I've seriously underexposed several photos lately.

I tend to like underexposed pictures when the sky is blue. That way the effect is more pleasing (that's just me...).

Hmm. Me too.
