Hi Henk

This image fasinates me, because I can not decide between

a. I really like it

or

b. I'm not sure

What I find interesting is the completlely abstract nature of the background fighting with the more recognisable tracks, the scale of each seeming to jar against each other.

A challenging pic

This isnt supposed to be hard work!!:D

Steve

Three thoughts Henk. 1. You need some serious noise suppression on that shot 2. How many legs have you got? 3. I bet you're great at doing the "splits".

Seriously, I like shots that make us look more carefully at the commonplace, and cause us to speculate. This shot does both. Bravo.

Henk,

I like the texture and the asymmetry. I assume Tony is joking about the noise suppression. The grainy look makes the shot. Looks like it was taken with Kodak Record film.

Thank you guys for your very kind words.

The "grain" is frost fallen from trees on the ice Clay. No Tony those are not my tracks, I would have broken the ice and for splits I'm too stiff nowadays. It's good to tickle the gray cells under your skull now and then Steve.

Hmm, very strange but captivating.

Henk,
Very different, and captivating. Did you (or someone) slip and slide out to the left, make a circle, then come back in from the right?

Thank you Pete, Garry and Mike for your kind comments.

I'm not sure how it was made Mike, I guess someone started on the other side of the canal (just out of the frame above), came to the side where I later shot this image and went back making the other track. I found it and captured the image.
