The shot of the statue's arm is far and away my favorite. The others are good, but that arm really appeals to me. good point of view--unusual subject

You've got some beautiful shots here - I am such a fan of cemeteries, I particularly like the third and the statue's arm. Isn't the 50mm a wonderful lens?

Lovely sharp, colourful and thoughtfully composed. Gotta love the 50mm.

Very nice! I like shooting in graveyards also. Not at all to be morbid, just always interested in history, and the human condition. I've said this before, and you're causing me to say it again - I can't believe I haven't picked up that lens yet!

It looks like you had fun with your new toy. It really makes
you want to get in close doesn't it? Lovely details...I love
shooting graveyards too.

I've said this before, and you're causing me to say it again - I can't believe I haven't picked up that lens yet!

Well then, stop saying it and do it! The only problem
is is that you'll become spoiled and will have a hard time
using other, lesser lenses.

Like Nate, I share your photographic fascination with historic cemeteries! The autumn leaves contribute to feeling of lives lived.

Very nice shots. I just got my 50mm f2 this week and went out today and took some test shots. Man, am I spoiled now. I thought my 2 kit lenses and 70-300 were good but I was floored by the quality of this lens. I can just imagine what the 150mm F2 is like. I also like taking shots of tombstones. They're works of art. Gerry
