An Empty but Noisy Stadium

Well, not High ISO noise. That one, I don't want to waste my time with. Suffice to say, I will only shoot up to ISO2000.

But, this noise is cool!.... ART5 GRAINY FILM!

This shot was made with the E-30 and Zuiko Digital ED9-18mm f4-5.6 lens, using these settings: 17mm, F10, 1/250s, ISO200

Set the base exposure using the Monotone mode with Red filter and the Noise Filter to OFF. Upped the contrast by 50 points, along with aggressive S-curve manipulation to match the above picture.

The 2nd picture lacks depth & drama.

I agree, noise is cool. Well, sometimes it is. Works well here, and that's a cool building too! I agree, the second one just doesn't have the 'snap' that the first one does.

The noise looks fine in this one (#1). I am reluctant to add noise to my B&W's but sometimes it really works.

I like the first one to. What stadium is that? I don't recognize it.
