I somehow managed to stitch all 8 continuous frames using Autostitch.
E-30 with 35-100mm f2.0, C-AF and 5fps.

Funny how the word "cool" leaps into everyone's minds, including mine. I'm amazed at your results, and had not considered that use for pano stitching software.
Your experiment has opened up a new world of technique for me! Thank you so much for sharing it.

This technique has huge promise for Saturday night racing events. Imagine a series of panned shots, showing one car passing another. Very good idea!
