Ain't it the truth. A month ago, a local singer's large dog spied a squirrel and mowed her down when it took off in pursuit. Two days later Lorraine kept a singing commitment, in a wheelchair and on painkillers until multiple fractures in her ankle could be surgically repaired a couple days later:
