EP-1 Firmware Update

Olympus is pleased to announce a firmware update for the Olympus PEN E-P1 that improves performance by increasing the display speed of the enlarged view when using the Manual Focus (MF) assist function. This update also enables the 'Rec View' (image record preview immediately after an image has been captured) when the monitor’s backlight is set to the off position.

To download and install this firmware update, simply open the Olympus Master software, connect the camera via USB to the computer and log onto the internet. Choose the Update Camera function from the Online Service menu in the Olympus Master software and the update will commence immediately.
