Re: A New Look...
At the forum page I can see a dark blue frame around the logo but not at the front page.... I prefer no frame .......

Re: A New Look...
I see that too and it lays on top of word "forum" on that and subsequent pages.

Re: A New Look...
THE FOUR/THIRDS PHOTO logo does overlay the "Forum" option of the main menu which it's pretty distracting. The look is very minimalist which it's good. Less is more!

I fixed that one yesterday. So it should be ok.

Basically working with Antiquated vbulletin technology has been a bit of a challenge. I will take a look at the logo. When you guys see changes, it is also helpful to have browsers and versions.

Re: A New Look...
Well I really like the new & minimalist look of the forum.
I follow the forum since the first day it was there, but never signed up.

I know exactly what you mean. One of my websites that I have developed and run over the past 5 years also uses vb (3.5.x). I couldn't tell if you were using it, but there's a vbAdvanced module that I used for the frontpage, and it allowed me to customize a lot more easily.
I love the look, and think it's a lot more modern. The old design reminded me too much of the 1995-2000 sites that you'd see.
My only suggestion would be to get some other 4/3 and m4/3 cameras in that main logo. As it is I feel this forum kinda favours Olympus (and that's ok!), but to attract all 4/3 and m4/3 users it'd help to show them all (or a sample of each) in the banner.

To me, performance is more important than appearance.
I am located in New Zealand. Of the sites that I visit this is the only site that I have regular speed problems with.

I think you must have server or other problems John. Mine here in NZ only takes seconds to load.

Re: A New Look...
It doesn't matter whether I view the site in IE8 or the latest Firefox, the logo still looks like a placeholder and overlaps the menu (vertically and horizontally). The light grey background has made the remainder look much better.

Re: A New Look...
The logo doesn't look right to me either as it overlaps the blue bar and not centered in the black frame.

Re: A New Look...
I like the new look too, but I guess is not finished. because only the front page looks good and the information is clear and easy to read. The „articles”, „membership”, „about” and „contac” pages are ok too.
The rest of the pages are not fitting well in the new look.

Re: A New Look...
I like the new, cleaner look but I have to say, I am not sold on the blue box that encircles Four/Thirds Photo.
