Default Saints Viking Game Photos

Dave fornell, a UPI shooter, an Olympus user sent me these photos, I believe he mainly used the 90-250mm. I will ask him for more info in the days to come but here are some pictures.

The game winning field goal. Must be nice to get field access to take pictures.

Some pretty darn good pics in there. I'm liking the one of the fumble.

Great moment and well shot, but the performance of that sensor is awful isn't it?

All,

The winning kick photo was shot with an E-520 at ISO 1600. While I have to admit that the sensor is not as good as the one in the E-3/E-30, keep in mind that this made the cover of the Gambit magazine in New Orleans, which kinda tells it all.

More to come.

I was about to ask where the Super Bowl pics are, but I followed the link and found them. I was telling my girlfriend last night how nice it would be to shoot such an event and have on the field access. The pictures are awesome btw.

Hi Dave,

You shot from the opposite end zone, correct? Did you use a 1.4? Great shots, by the way. I just purchased a 90-250 for the 2010 college football season and can't wait. I'm shooting SMU and Texas Tech spring football games so I'll get a chance to try this lens out in a football invironment then.
