Default Wired Magazine Ad

Olympus continues to show their commitment to the 4/3 standard, with another example of great advertising of the system.
In the latest edition of Wired's ipad magazine Olympus has an ad featuring the Pen cameras and examples of the in camera art filters.
Also readers of WIRED’s June print issue also have a chance to experience the functionality of the PEN with an augmented reality tip-in card shaped like the Olympus PEN (actual size) in the magazine. Visit http://www.getolympus.com/PEN3d to learn more.

it worked for me, this ad brought the camera to my attention. I was going to buy a G11. I just finished un-boxing my PEN

The ads are cool, but I want to correct what you said. I don't see any support by Olympus for the 4/3 system, and that is disappointing to me.

The support is for the micro 4/3 system. The existing (but understandably small) base of 4/3 users is likely to jump ship eventually, unless this distinct market is served. Demonstrating the development of a new body to replace the E-3 that incorporates a lot of the new technology being offered to the micro 4/3 market would be considered support for the 4/3 system. I think the company has developed the best lenses out there for digital SLRs, but the failure to keep up with the rest of the world is going to make those lenses into dinosaurs.

I hope I am wrong, as I have been a dedicated Olympus user for decades, but I don't think it is fair that the investment I have made in the system is not being kept updated.

I don't se any support for the 4/3 system. everything is about the micro 4/3 cameras now. It's been a year since Olympus introduced an SLR camera. In that time, competitors have introduced both SLRs and interchangeable lens cameras. I feel abandoned by Olympus. I am seriously contemplating dumping my Oly gear and buying into a new system.
