The yellow pops out very nicely from the black background, and I like how the flowers spray up and out. It all combines to make a very pleasing 3-D effect.

My personal preference would be to crop the image at the base of the vase so that it doesn't appear to be floating in air, but obviously that is the look that you were going for, so I guess I can live with it.

Ok, so I have come back to this image over and over again. It is great, perfect technically, but every time I look at it I keep thinking that something is missing. I have no idea what !!!!!!!

Thank you, Garry. If I ever see the missing "thing" I shall take shot of it.
(maybe it is, as Julie mentioned, the fact that the vase seems to be floating in the air)

You know this does have the effect of flotation almost like a magician performance. Really nice.......
