Default Pine Sisken

Hey folks, a not-so-great through-the-window shot of a Pine Sisken at the feeder on my condo balcony. But...

... it's the very first picture taken with my brand-spanking new 50-200 SWD on my E-520. I hope the weather holds for tomorrow!

Woo Hoo! Congratulations, Paul. I know you're going to have a blast with that baby.

I see an Ec14in your future. Well maybe not after looking at your equipment list. It is a great lens. Enjoy it and please, bore us with pictures!

I think there might be Jim ( that GAS thread applies to me!) - the Bigma is such a brute to carry, and even just a few practice shots tell me the glass on this is so much better than the 70-300, that that might be the way to go. But the budget has to digest this bite first, and I've been thinking about something like the 11-22mm at the wide end ..... mmmm. Does it ever stop?

nicely done Paul +3 - EV would bring the eye out just a bit more for that gleam , catching the light is tough depending on the position the bird turn his head , you can get that way to . The 50-200 mm SWD is a fine lens and yes so much lighter than your sigmonster or my 250mm monster which at most times need to be pod mounted. Congatulations. Cheers Pete
