What's really interesting is that I dragged my own image into Google search by image and it was already cataloged by Google's spyder...geez!

There are pictures of this online but maybe using the 8mm lens may confuse the image search engines

Indeed Florida. The furthest flag is a bit curled up but is the Florida flag.

Funny I thought it looked a bit like an arena or a mall and it turns out to be a surf shop.

Indeed a surf shop in Cocoa Beach FL. THe surf board outside might have been a clue!

Actually the proprietors would much prefer it to be called "the One of a Kind Ron Jon Surf Shop" (which is a bit confusing as it is part of a chain with a dozen or so outlets) - also possibly the biggest surf shop anywhere (PS I do not have shares in it). The next wave is yours ...

Can't think of anything to search on. Looks like British Columbia with the trees? Quite a big river in the bottom of the valley. Other long shot would be New Zealand south island.

    Right country.

I thought the image was bigger allowing you to zoom in a bit but I seem to have messed something up when uploading.

The mountain on the left appears in many sunset images although most are taken from the bottom of the valley across a lake. If you run to the right some of the images of that mountain are quite stunning.

Not Revelstoke, but I understand they are having a ripa time from what I saw on TV last night.

Banff? That looks like Mt. Rundle on the left.

Not a combination I had thought of. I was thinking more of hotels but an "N" must have fallen off in a photoshop earthquake.

The N fell off, but not by way of a PS earthquake. Not even because of a recent earthquake either. Frankly, I didn't notice the name on the building until after I posted the image.

Elaine's hints should give the answer. I'll give another one, the earth did shake there in the recent past.

Funny how Google searches turn up different things in different regions. At any rate, you are correct and it's now your turn.

Hmmm, very quiet here. This city may not have a dragon tattoo but it does have a sting in its tail.

Also stumped so far ... traffic lights look American.

The green Hwy sign right is not US ... some kind of crown shape... also a crown on sign above GMC. This leads me to believe it's a former colony some where in Asia. Singapore?

edit: Traffic light indicates "drive on right" maybe...does rule out Singapore

This is one of 4 statues at this crossroads, each representing something different. One of the city's nick names is alluded to in my previous Stig Larson hint.
