Hello Everyone,
I have been the owner of an E-1 for three weeks, but as yet have had little time to use it. I also have the 14-55mm and 50-200mm lenses, an OM adaptor and an Olympus system case.
Next on the shopping list are a 14-22 and an FL-50.
This is my first dSLR, but I have been a long time Olympus user (OM1 and 2 plus large bag of bits). Previous digital camera was (and still is) a Fuji 602, used in conjunction with the OM gear.
I had decided to get an E-1 last year, but rumours of a (non) announcement of an E-1 replacement in January kept me waiting for a while, but as nothing is on the horizon I went for the E-1, I probably could not afford the E-(2/3/4 or whatever) anyway.
I live in Surrey in England and most of my photography is landscapes, seascapes and views in general.
For those interested, Personal Computer World reviewed the E-500 this month, and gave it 4 out of five stars. Makes a change to read a “non photographic” review.
