Hi I am sure lots of you have heard of me because of Louis's loud mouth, by the way I am not Emma (sorry about that). I shoot with an E1 -great to be here, I'm new to internet forums so give me some slack) and "the other place" looks like a right snake pit!

I specialise in "slice of life photos" and here's the kind of thing I mean:

Hi Eva, that's a really nice shot, sharpened to perfection. You're lucky if you get to shoot with the E-1, it's a beautiful camera. If you're entirely new to the E system, my suggested flash setups may be of interest to you and may save you a little time:

A most friendly group of folks here.

What a wonderful picture of the fisherman mending his net. He probably works his trade very hard. I really liked seeing him sitting there in his stocking feet mending the net. And the Olympus colors... Great shot!

Welcome Eva...after seeing that pic of the man mending his net, I think some of your talent has "rubbed off" on Louis...

:yahoo:

I know you are going to like this place, it is not a snake pit !

Hi Eva,
Some of us were betting that Louis would end up with the E1. I think it's just great that you both have a love of photography. I just got my E1 and I do love it but am finding it a bit heavy. How do you like using the E1?

you are doing superbly with the E-1 already. Plus, it's nice to know that if we need to keep Louis in line, all we have to do is to tell you....:worship:

Hi Sandie, thanks for your reply,
I am relatively new to this game but loving it, I started off with a canon Power shot G3 and Louis bought me a second one Oly E1.
I do not find it really heavy to tell you the truth but it took a time to get used to the configurations ie ISO etc...but with Louis's help I am nearly sorting it all out.

When the E1 was first given to me my hands were shaking for a long long time....afraid I would do damage to the v. expensive camera.

Well I have overcome that one and now I am really enjoying using this E1.

Hope I have helped and looking forward to hearing from you shortly.

You'll be lucky - it looks like Wales in Winter outside.

I think we'll have to get out the sexy undewear and shoot in house.

I'll try not to stretch the elastic.

And indeed that's what we did. Very clean and tasteful nude here:

I like the image and the style, keep posting em.:yahoo:

I like the way he is using his shoeless feet to help mend the net and the transistor type radio make me wonder if is this a very old image converted to color with the magic of Photoshop.

Keep'm coming,
Chris

Do me a favor will you. I absolutely loved that photo you put up here (I can't find it now), where Louis is in this pub, but there are like a dozen Louis's in different poses. It was awesome - hilarious. I've been meaning to show the Misses, but I can't locate it now.

Can you provide the link so I can show her. That was a priceless photo.

Welcome Eva - Looking forward to more posts like the fisherman above. Very nice shot. Whatever you do, don't let Louis get a hold of that E1, keep it to yourself! (LOL)
