how am i suppose to just vote once?

Prairie

I'm guessing the winner is going to win only by one or two votes.

There are at least 7 I wanted to vote for.

To be fair we should NOT be allowed to vote for our own picture ...this is NOT right imho

what significant works are shown! Maybe we should have 1st, 2nd and third place voting!

Tough choice...a lot of thought and work went into each of these photos. Everyone submitting this month is a winner!

Wow, what a tough voting choice, there are so many excellent entries this month. I think I spent longer making this selection than I did voting for president last time. Let's hope this choice works out better

Heh, heh, heh! Isn't a tough choice wonderful? We get to enjoy so many great photos.

For deevee: I made an honest evaluation of the submitted photos and voted for one that I like more than my own. The comments and interaction when we post in the Photos thread are worth a lot more than "winning" a vote. The bottom line: a vote for one's own photo is only one vote and is not worth the effort of enforcing a no-vote rule.

The turnout this month in terms of numbers is great. The other great thing is that there are so many Great pictures here this month. I can tell you, I really would have liked to vote about 6 or 7 times this month that is for sure.

It took me nearly 2 days to decide on where my vote should go.

The poll is now closed, and it looks like JBailey is the winner. Great job this month everyone. I am very impressed. The decision was to hard to make. As you can see only by 1 vote. Very impressive.
good job everyone.

First of all I have to say that the competition was really strong. A lot of very good entries. Jdal, I liked your sheep. Oliverk, great shot, really sharp. Tony F, great colour. And Judd, I thought you were going to pull ahead. And Prairie, you nailed it; you predicted one vote would win it. I think Judd might demand a recount.

Thanks to all who voted for my entry. I do appreciate it.

Congratulations yours was an excellent photo. I liked it very much.
No recount demands from me, you deserve the win.

Congratulations, John, well deserved. You had a great shot there.
And to be honest so had many others. It was a very high standard competition this month. It was hard to decide for which one to vote.

Congratulations John! The classic simplicity and subtle pastels of your image won me over.

Congratulations John,

I simply thought the softness of the sky and the reflections in the water was a real winner in your pic. ;-)
