November's theme is "Seasonal Colors in Your Area".

The contest will run from the first of the month until the last day.
Please post 1 (one) submission per person with a title.

The submitted photo(s) must be taken during the month of the contest (or within a few days) with any 4/3 system camera (basic exif data should show date taken & system used). If you change your mind, let me know and you can submit a newer photo and the older one will be deleted.

A poll will be posted after the end of the month and the community at large will vote on all submissions. The one with the most votes at the end of the poll wins. The voting will last 3-4 days. You can vote (once) for your own entry or for someone else's should you feel it is more deserving.

The winner will be notified via fourthirds PM system, so please make sure you check for messages after the voting is over (or simply turn on your option to receive messages).

Remember; Please give your photo a title.

If you have any questions, send me a PM.

The contest winner will receive a new flash drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowImage.asp?Image=20%2D211%2D204%2D10%2Ejpg%2C20 %2D211%2D204%2D03%2EJPG%2C20%2D211%2D204%2D09%2Ejp g%2C20%2D211%2D204%2D06%2EJPG&CurImage=20%2D211%2D204%2D10%2Ejpg&Description=A%2DDATA+512MB+Flash+Drive+%28USB2%2E0 +Portable%29+Model+RB51201N10B+%2D+Retail).

Title: Aspens
Camera : Olympus E1
Caption: this was shot near Ouray, Colorado along the million dollar highway late September when the aspen leaves started to turn yellow; this was an abandoned barn in yet another mining ghost town; one has to be very careful with the bright yellow for it could throw off the WB and turn the leaves into green; the E1 with its external WB sensor works like magic  ... Enjoy

Kanji, Putah Creek and Cache Creek both have some spectacular sights to be seen. Thanks for sharing this one. It's been years since I've seen it.

The leaves here turn brown in the fall, no colors. Our only life comes from the water lily ponds here. There are hardy and tropical plants there, it graces us with beautiful blooms all year. We do not have harsh winters so that helps as well.

I was inspired somewhat by a similar Photo of another Member that was posted to the photos forum fairly recently

Title GB!R (Green, Blue, NO Red)

With the Season being spring, coming into Summer in Aus. It emphasises the bright light, Vibrant Green leaves that have not yet started to dry out as the summer heats up.

Hello All,

This is my first attempt at a photo contest. It was taken on Saturday, I was on route home from a weeks stay next to Loch Tay in central Scotland. I saw the picture in my mind and just had to stop and take the picture:smile: . It was taken on the shore of Loch Lubhair, using E-500, 40-150 lens, f4.0, ISO 200. I have rotated, cropped and altered levels using photoshop.

Good luck to everyone else, your pictures are great.

I was taking a walk in a nearby park this morning and came across this breezeway scene. Fortunately I had my e330 and 14~54 with me. I am submitting it as a replacement for my earliar entry.
