This month we are doing something a little different. Because we had so many people post last month. I have split this month into 2 contests. (Yes you can enter both, but also you have more chances to enter into the big contest of the year)
1-15th - self Portrait
16-31 - Pets
Only post self portrait pic's in this thread. The next one will be open during its current time.

File Uploads:
If you would like to upload pictures to the May gallery you can do so here (http://43photo.smugmug.com/gallery/2786463).
The log in is: tony@fourthirdsphoto.com
Password: may1
After you have uploaded the photo - Please edit the caption with Your username, and the image title.

Or if you like you can place the photos in this thread and I will put them all together at the end of the contest.

Rules:
1- follow all of sites rules.
2- only 1 post per person
3- shot must be in the month of the contest. (Please include EXIF info)
4- a title is nice to include with your photo.

The top 4 contributers will be entered into the 43photo photographer of the year contest.
Also to help sweeten the pot. If there are more than 25 entries, we will not only give away software by media chance, we will also give away a free year of smugmug. (The top voted member gets first choice on what he wants) But remember we need at least 25 people in the contest for 2 prizes.
This event is sponsered by media chance and the winner will get to pick from one of these following prizes:

Edit:

EDIT:
OK, I got the photo up, but was not able to a user name or title.

That's ok, I can add these. I shrunk your posts. These threads tend to get very long.

I have added mine to the Gallery - a challenging photo to "direct" and to also shoot!

It was a tough call for me to put up this colour version or a B/W version - The Colour won out

exif intact and visible @smugmug.

This was interesting - check the other forums - I'll write something up about the How.

edit - see this post (http://fourthirdsphoto.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=12893) for the how/discussion

Yes - the photo must be shot in the month of the challenge.
(or Tony had a good month in april and he wants to re-live it!)

I did this as a joke for Christmas when I wrapped one more gift than people in my family and they had to guess which one belonged to whom.

Technically, it was more difficult than I originally thought to make every element fall into place without any cropping.

Great entries so far. I have been very impressed to this point.
I will keep this open till tonight.
This time I am trying out a beta form of voting. Those who are part of that will receive info about this after I close the thread.
So this contest we are trying a slightly more advance form of voting.
It should be a bit more constructive.
