I propose that April 3rd (4/3) should be 4/3rds Day and thus, would like to extend a happy 4/3rds Day to everyone!

Yes, happy 4/3 day, at least in the U.S.of A.
As in the UK, it's 3/4 here.....

Would someone who thinks today is 4/3 please explain the logic of Month - Day - Year as a date protocol? :naughty:

Its easy. It was April 3rd, 2008 here yesterday, so...watch for it...wait for it...here it comes...it was 4/3/08...just as if written out. :D

Yeeeess......
But for those of us in different parts of the world (nearly everywhere except the States) who use:
Day - Month - Year, it does seem a rather more logical way of doing things......

Didn't forget.....only in America for instance can you have a "World Series" where only Americans are playing..... :naughty:

Remember that the rest of the world enjoys having a bit of fun at America's expense (and I'm no exception).
And with all that, I have been there many times for fun and business, and without the slightest doubt have found Americans amongst the most hospitable people on Earth....and I've been to 33 countries.
And anybody I know would say the same.....even if you do drive on the wrong side of the road

I have to say, I went to the World Cup in 2006 and saw countries play each other where as in the World Series I saw teams play each other...so you have a point...

You mean North American? It's not just Americans that are playing, there are players and teams from Canada, and players from all over Latin America. Just a reminder....don't they have players now from Japan too?
