    Re: Castle

Nice exposure and colours. I would be inclined to crop the water with wake and the moving 'ferry?' out and make it a land only image.

Re: Hay Field in Black and White

I agree - the texture is much more obvious in the roll, the field and the clouds.

    Re: HDR Software

Have a look at this software. It is by Media Chance who sponsor the monthly comps here on 4/3. I tried it but prefer Photomatix which I own.

    Re: Paper Lantern Lane

As said this is a beautiful image and very well composed - I like the diagonal lanterns and even the neons add a touch of irony.

    Re: Silverton, Colorado

Great images - we have a Silverton in AU - it is a ghost town near Broken Hill. It has been used as a movie set a few times.

    Re: Face to Face

Lovely sharp focus on the first deer. I'm not sure about the 'green tail' - think I'd clone it out but that's just me.

    Weed

This little weed was about 5mm across. C&C welcomed as I've tried a slightly different composition. ZD 35.

    Re: Brush Turkey

These were easy subjects as they forage happily near humans. There were several females present and they are much more drab. Taken with the 14-54mm.

    Brush Turkey

Taken at Lake Eacham, Queensland AU. Raw developed in Silkypix and adjusted in EditLab. These are quite used to humans and can be a pest if you have a garden. They scratch away and steal organic...

    Re: Towers 'n Tanks

The bright colours in the foreground buildings contrast nicely with the grey of the towers which match the grey of the sky. Pleasing composition.

As Ray said some plugins work in 16 and some only in 8 bit. It is not a full implementation as in Photoshop.

As Ray has said PSP really shows its limitations when considering RAW and 16 bit handling. I was a great fan of PSP but have not upgraded from X. I am another convert to Silkypix.
