My guess it that most people have migrated to m4/3 or something else. I have two E-M1 bodies, but for the most part am using all my old 4/3 glass. I still have my e-1, e-3, and e-30, but none of...

My guess it that most people have migrated to m4/3 or something else. I have two E-M1 bodies, but for the most part am using all my old 4/3 glass. I still have my e-1, e-3, and e-30, but none of...
I can't speak to the Laowa. I have a Rokinon 7.5 fisheye and have been very pleased with it. The build quality is excellent. I also have a Rokinon 85 1.4 which is also a very solid and well made...
I still take mine out once in a while. The E-1 had a more "organic" look to the images. I don't know how else to describe it, but less "digital". More than anything, I like to use the old gear...
Unlikely, but perhaps if you're not careful or holding the body only and not supporting the weight of the lens on your hand or a tripod. I've used the 14-35, 35-100, and Bigma on my E-M1 with no ill...
Hi Everyone,
Massdrop.com is offering the 40-150 f/2.8 PRO for as low as $940 plus $8.75 shipping. If you're not familiar with Massdrop, they ask a number of buyers to commit to purchase an...
I use all my 4/3 lenses, mainly the 14-35 and 35-100, but I haven't replaced any of my 4/3 lenses with m4/3 lenses. I did pick up the 45 and 75 1.8 lenses for their small size and low light...

Rangefinder is pretty good and you can get a free subscription. I get Popular Photography and I get Professional Photographer with my PPA membership. I let my subscription to Digital Photo Pro...
I bring RAW files into Lightroom and use Nik Effects often. For portraits and other work that requires layers and/or fine adjustments, I do basic color and tone corrections in Lightroom then finish...
I don't see one in my immediate future. Not at that price.
Consider getting a monitor with an IPS display. Better color rendition than TN displays (which are what the majority of monitors use). Dell makes some nice monitors that are relatively affordable...
Maybe a bad card? I just pulled out my e-1 which has a Sandisk Ultra 2 CF card in it and it takes about a second or less for the image to show up. That was shooting RAW.
Are you shooting RAW or JPG? If you're shooting RAW you can just shoot an image of the grey card and fix your WB in post process.
Not a better "technique", but another option is using something...
I had mine fixed under warranty by Olympus in January 2015 and it has stayed fixed. So far, so good.
Interesting. I have MMF-3 adapters for both my E-M1 bodies and have not had any issues with 4/3 lenses, and I have a large collection including some Sigma and Panasonic Leica 4/3 lenses. I am OK...
I shot a wedding yesterday and took a few wide angle shots of the venue with my 9-18 and all images were acceptably sharp. I took a look at one that I shot at 9MM and f5.6 and everything that was in...
Try some basic stuff first like making sure it was seated properly on the camera body and cleaning the contacts. Do you have another body you can try it on? You can get rates for repair by...
I have an EX-25 and don't think I've ever used it. I have the Zuiko 50 MM f2, and the Sigma 105MM and 150MM f2.8 macro lenses. What am I missing? What advantage does the EX-25 offer, other than...
That's awful! Have you tried it on your e-520? I don't use my 9-18 very often, but I just went and searched through my photos and it is quite sharp, however, this was on the e-3 -...
I can't remember for sure if I've used my 4/3 9-18 on the E-M1, but I'm pretty sure I have. I have yet to run into any issues with using any of my 4/3 lenses on the E-M1, including the Sigma lenses...
I finally broke down and bought it in January. It's a great set of tools and well worth having, even if it wasn't free. If you bought it in 2016 Google will refund your payment.
I have always used them on my cameras (including e-3 and e-30 with screens you can turn in), cell phones, tablets, etc. I've never had anything bad happen from using a screen protector, but I've...
I have shot weddings and portraits with the e-3 and e-30 and all my clients have been very happy with the results. I'm very comfortable shooting up to 800 ISO with either, but would not do 1600 with...
Yes, it's important to have a good monitor (at least an IPS panel) and to calibrate it.
I have two E-M1 bodies, an e-30, an e-3, and an e-1 (all have battery grips), and 3 point and shoots. How many cameras does one man need?!?
I was thinking about selling the e-3 and e-30, but it...
