It is tempting to go the way you have since the mFT 300/4 costs more than the Canon 400/5.6+metabones adapter.

In the right light even the EPL-1 and the 75-300 II zoom can do very well.

It sounds like you use the combo handheld most of the time. Good thing you saved f/w v2.1 as I don't see it on the metabones site.
