    actually you need the auto tube to use those macro heads, because rear glass element protrudes alot behind the mount ( i have 80mm on loan and i'll test it later this evening to see if mounting it on...

    there is no direct keyboard shortcut to control panel. you have to install Microsoft IntelliType software, then you can use win+C shortcut for direct access to Control Panel

    that's just the reason why Olympus won't make FF sized sensor camera. why would Sony allow a direct competitor to their camera in that format, especially when they finance Olympus?

    in 2014 there will be Olympus 40-150mm/2.8 PRO m4/3 lens so that will cover 80-300 equivalent, also PRO line will include wide angle zoom and tele prime (specs to those 2 are yet to be announced)....

    different way of metering? canon fd lenses are wide open until taking the photo, unless you press DOF preview button on camera, while on digital lens is stopped all the time at aperture you set it at?

    sorry to disappoint you but canon lenses can't be used on Olympus E series, only on mirrorless , because of registration distance of canon lenses that is shorter than 4/3rds registration distance....

    it will have same mechanism for manual focus as 12mm/2 and 17mm/1.8, so you'll have to pull down manual focus ring to engage it.

    try scanning at maximum dpi that your scanner can handle, save in tiff format, then sharpen and resize the scan to smaller size (usually when resizing you can set size in inches, so set it to 8X10,...

    14-42 lens maximum aperture is f3.5 at 14mm and f5.6 at 42mm, so it's impossible to use it at f2.8.


    in 4/3 system equivalent would be Panasonic 25mm/1.4. similar would be lenses made by Sigma...

    you don't need to convert em-5 to get infrared, i've used it with manual lenses, i just put IR filter on the lens and shot handheld
