Excellent pictures, the only thing i could suggest is that you might try to get a little more sky in the pictures. I just love the way IR makes the sky look with clouds.
I tried to cut (scribe and snap) a cheap piece of ordinary glass to the correct dimension for my Canon ( 11mm by 12 mm) and it did not go too well. But i have not given up ...

If i remember correctly, in the tower you are shooting through glass. I believe that the glass used in the the tower is very thick and this is what is causing this type of distortion.
