Thanks, Jim. That's just what I needed to know.

Thanks, Michael, for all the good information --as usual!

Clarification: Does this mean that Olympus can't fix the particular problem on your camera, or that they aren't servicing the E-5. I can't imagine it's the latter (and hope not).

A treat to see a beautifu owl, one I'll never see in person. Thanks for showing.
Ken
It really does appear to be extreeeemly good. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Ken
That is a beautiful shot! Thanks for showing.
Ken
John, Glad you like the shots; appreciate your comments.
Thanks, Guy!
That lens is sharp, indeed. Thanks for the look and the words.
Thanks! Adding the "diamond ring" shot. Was a second or two later than I wished but, still, is unique, and I'm glad to get it, smoke and all.

I made the trip to Douglas in central Wyoming for the eclipse event. It was exciting, indeed. There were no clouds at the time, but the air was heavy with smoke from the huge forest fires in the...
Glad you like them! Distance: I suppose about 50 yards, but it's sort of hard to say. That first one is among my favorite shots.
Ken
Thanks, Diana. I just need to get out more to use it! This has been the least I've done for photography --life interferes!-- but do plan to get back at it soon.
Ken
Thanks for the note! Appreciate the suggestion. I take it you are referring to the snipe bg. I do like the others. I need to get out and do some more camera work; time flies.
Finally getting back to taking some pics. Young Magpies have fledged, learned to fly, but still stick together.
The Wilson's Snipe is unusally tame.
Taken with the E-5 & 300 2.8 & 2x tc from car...
Really nice shot! Haven't checkin in a while, but glad I did so now to see this one. Thanks for showing.
Ken
Thanks. Rather difficult, yes. Main thing is you have to be in a blind and spend lots of time to get feeding shots.
Many thanks for the encouraging words. I can even say that I, too, like how these turned out. --The 300/2.8 is one amazing lens!
Ken
Thanks, Diana. Hope you are getting some pics, too.
Ken
Thanks for looking, everyone. In another month or so, I hope to be "back in the saddle" taking more pics.

Juvenile Bald Eagle and juvenile Red-tailed Hawk just a few inches apart. Don't know who joined the party, but likely the hawk. Must have been somewhat confusing for both.
Haven't posted for quite...
Haven't been out much lately; life sometimes interferes with photography!
Got these with the E-5, 300/2.8 lens & 2X tc.
Western Meadowlark, female Yellow-headed Blackbird, Upland Sandpiper,...
You got it! Very nice.
Ken
Really good --thanks for showing!
Daniel, Yes, a treat it definitely was. So rare to get that kind of background. Thanks for the comment.
