    Accessories Re: STF-22 Twin Flash

John it is all in the light, which you have found.

I guess the first thing is the f stop, yes you want just about as high as you can go. On the first shot it was taken at f25 the second one at...

    Re: Reverse Macro Adapter

I have the bellows on the E-1, it is easy. Just get the OM adaptor and use OM lenses on the bellows. It works just fine.

This was shot with the bellows setup in the last image.

I did post this on another forum but thought I would post it here also.

I was looking around on Pbase the other day and ran across a gallery of some really neat looking images. I like the look...

Re: E-1, WB and Expodisc. A myth?

I disagree with that, I guess then you really don't need a built in light meter, I can fix that with the raw converter.

I guess I have a problem with the thought process of shoot it anyway you...

Re: E-1, WB and Expodisc. A myth?

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this point. I have been using the Expo/Disc for 4 years now and have found I get the best WB with it when I point it at the subject.
    Now when I say point...

    I agree..

I use the Expo and point it at the area I am shooting and not just at the light source.
That is the thing I like about the Expo, you can use it to set the WB with very mixed light.
    If you had 3...

Re: DNG is it worth it? No way!!

I am not sure that I agree 100% on this. If the low level work has been done to the data and then written to a Raw file then what would any camera company be giving away to someone to get the best...

Re: DNG is it worth it ????

Well it was all done with smoke and mirrors...... LOL

I am not sure how I did it,,,, I just looked at the ORF files again and they are only 7.6mb, not the 10.2 that they normally are. I has to be...

DNG is it worth it ????

At this point I think it is.

I can see no difference in the file after it has been converted to DNG. The DNG file loads and looks the same in all of the editing and viewing programs I use. I am...

    Got mine last night....

Mine came in last and it looks really good.

It works just fine and does just what I needed it to do, it is a little slow from the card to the unit but the speed to the PC is great.

    The unit...

Re: What a way to spend a Sunday Afternoon

Well its just a snap shot, but one of those that raw saved the day.

Re: First test shot with the AB ring flash

Isn't that the way it always goes...... LOL

I think for that type of shot the ring would have done great. The small twin does not have a lot of power for shooting fashion shots.

Re: Macro shot with the ring flash

Lawrence, to me this shows my point in my replay to your other post. The image is very flat and does not have a lot of depth to it.

Re: First test shot with the AB ring flash
