Re: Zuiko 35mm vs. Zuiko 50mm vs. Sigma 105mm

i second the 50-200 as a good choice i think and you may get one second hand soon for a reasonable rate

i also second the post by fl about the slow focus of the macro lenses
    i have the 50mm...

Re: Anyone using the EX25 extension tube

i occasionally use it but more likely with the 50-200 than with the zd50mmmacro ... if i use it on the macro lens it is likely to be:

Re: Weight of ZD ED 90-250/2.8?

there is probably more than i thought ... i just put the lens hood and fabric (neoprene?) lens cover on the kitchen scales (which are probably not really accurate) and they weighed in at 380...

Re: Weight of ZD ED 90-250/2.8?

don't know about the exact weights but the lens hood is metal but fairly light anyway ... it and the supplied front filter wouldn't add up to very much ... the "lens cap" is material of some...

Re: ZD 35-100mm f2.0 named the "Big Bruiser"

i don't know why they called it that ... it is heavy to be sure compared to things like the 50-200 but it is nowhere near as difficult to handhold ... it is extremely well balanced

    the 90-250 is...

Re: Okay, whose gonna buy what?

i don't know how much you need to justify a purchase to yourself but i can assure you that the 35-100 is a far superior lens to the 50-200 at concerts if you don't need the extra focal length ... ...
