    There should be some spots that are brightly lighted. One way would be to have the camera on Spot metering and full manual. Tripod the camera, focus on the highlighted area and set the highest...

    I agree to keeping it light. I was on a walk up the mountain (Huang Long, China) All I had was E-330, 11-22, 14-45 and 40-150. 1/2 way I was about to throw everything away.

    Let me add a bit more, If you can't afford the Zuiko 50-200, take a look at the Sigma 135-400. It's way better than the Sigma 55/200.
