Anyways I have had my E-500 since about 11/05, and as my first SLR its been a bit more to know it than any previous cameras, last one was a Sony DSC-F717(gifted to parents last Christmas).

Welcome Paul! I moved from a F707 to the E-1 and was shocked by how much I didn't know!! It has been a steep learning curve,but a fun and rewarding one.

Here is a pic from a wedding I attended last month. This is one of the few that really stood out.



I seem to get pretty good candid shots on occasion, but it's a lot harder with an SLR as you can't "shoot from the hip". But don't ask me about portraits as I have no clue how to pose people
