What email name should I use? Domain is JuliePoole.com and should I make the email julie@juliepoole.com or info@juliepoole.com?

    How about CEO@juliepoole.com?
Just kidding. I'd use the firstname.

FWIw, julie@juliepoole.com sounds more personal. Like you're speaking to a real person. info@juliepoole.com seems like you're going to get an automated response or something. Maybe set them both up and use them to see what different kinds of queries you get???

    Julie,
Like most here, your name might be the best. I'd avoid "info" also.
My host allows multiple e-mail accounts and I can set one up at any time for various purposes. If yours does you may want to do something like "event"@juliepoole.com [without the quotes] and use the event name.

    Hi Julie,

My URL allows multiple email accounts. If yours does, why not use different names for different purposes, e.g. business, website maintainer, personal?

I would go with the first name version, that sounds much more personal. That's what I did

The "Julie" beats the "info" name hands down.

Just let info@ forward on julie@... I actually let everything forward to my account. Really nice, I can register with some.domain.com@light.is and then not worry about it again. And I see if somebody is giving my address to spammers.

Alright, settled on Julie then. This is for my cards. So, more personal is good. I have personal email addresses, (from my server, my work and gmail) and this one is strictly for photos.

    Thanks for the help

I'll second jonr... Set your domain to forward mail to your Gmail account. Then you can set your Gmail account up to reply from any of those addresses. I love it that way. Especially since Gmail is super fast on most any computer.
