Hi, new to the forum and new to my recently acquired E500.. This was the 4th photo I shot using the supplied 40-150 lens on all Auto. Not the greatest as it was very cloudy and I was hand holding at 150mm. The Killdeers set up housekeeping in our gravel drive every spring. I put small flags next to the nests so visitors don't run over the eggs..
After seeing all the other entries I dare not, but OK

You've done a great job with the layout of these pictures Tony. The EXIF info is a helpful guide as well that could be useful to us in the future.

Can I still enter?

Speaking about tulips, they are just getting out here...
Here is my entry Towards Spring.
These plants are called muguet in French. I believe you could call them woodruffes in English but I am not sure.

Thanks for the comment Peter.
I had another look at it the other day, and opened up the midtones a tad, brought it alive a bit more, but left the colours (should that be colour!) well alone.
cheers,
Mark
Its still open. There were so many entries, that I started putting them up.
I will close it Monday night.
gallery updated to this point.
I wonder if I'm the only one who's a little confused. I posted a photo in this thread, which is still open until tomorrow for April's contest, but under a separate thread for "Final Submissions" in the April contest, it says that thread is closed as the date is May 1. What am I missing?

That was a big "DUUUUHH!" Yes, you're right. Too tired, in too much of a rush, etc., etc. I just visited the smugmug link and what you've done is excellent. I like the availability of the exif info. As already mentioned, that would be very helpful to some of us.
