shooting fuji X10 and X-S1 at the moment.

cool, dell has them price is not bad either, however Dell canada does not carry any DSLR, i would love to get one, just wondering if they will ship to canada. and yes buddy's prices are wacked.

give's you an idea of the uphill battle that you face trying to buy a lens for 4/3 in Canada, This is the distributor for Sigma, they in turn sell to the camera stores. It shows how bad a choice it was to make them the distributor. They have no real interest in the product line, but will succeed in preventing anyone else from importing the product. With only Sigma and Oly making lenses for 4/3 you have to fish from a very small pond as it is. Take away Sigma in canada and the fact that a lot of sigma dealers in USA wont ship to Canada it makes Canon/Nikon look like a much better choice. You can find Sigma lenses at 1/2 suggested list price for these cameras and a shortage at full list for Oly.

Yep, it's the same with the 50-500mm - consistently high demand yet they seem to occasionally sell one or two of them. I've given up on getting either of them, Sigma UK keep claiming they'll be available the next month, then the next month etc. but they never seem to be,I am confused.This lens is high in demand and Sigma don't want to sell more lens??

i buy most of my gear off ebay or in fla when im there anyways. i find the canadian dealers mark their prices up way to much!

You can go to B & H Photo click on the item & it will say out of stock & give you the option to be notified when item is available. They will send you email notice when it is available. But order as soon as you get the email as it took me 2 trys.This does work as I just bought one myself.
Hope this helps & excuse my inexperience as I am new to this site.
