Another Item I picked up to help with my Macro Photography. I did not have to $ to buy a Olympus Ring Flash, So I tried a no name brand. (it died after the first flash). So my next choice was a LED powered ring. Technical specs are

- it is not a flash so it works with any camera. the battery pack attaches to flash mount.
- has a hi / low power setting
- can select left / right / or all lights.
- large enough circumference, no vignetting
Con
-hard on batteries as you turn it off/on and if your setup time is long you can run the batteries down. ~ 20minutes
- short range max usable of about a foot
- not a lot of light, good for 1 stop at 1 foot and about 2 stops at 1/2 foot
- a little expensive at ~ $200
over all I am happy with this for my macro work I will post some images soon.
