    Default My Hometown Photos

Here's a couple photos of my hometown Louisville, KY. I added the moon using photoshop on the second photo.

    Hi,

I like the shots a lot, but I think the added moon detracts from the second picture.

Not sure what you mean about how I did the photos. I took them using my E-500, 40-150mm lens and a Tripod. I shot in manual mode ISO 100, f/4, 4 sec shutter.
The moon was added on photo 2 using PS from another shot I got of the moon last month.
The House was taken with the same camera and setup with ISO 100, f8, 4 sec shutter.

Jim, Thanks for comments. It's funny some people love the Moon others hate it. It's one of those love/hate things.

I'm still undecided. It looks good on 8x10 Glossy.

Nice captures - I prefer no moon and also I think shots 1(&2) need a wee bit of straightening.

    Hi,

I think he means that the buildings lean slightly to the left. You can also see that the water line isn't exactly horizontal. You can easily fix this with PhotoShop, PS Elements, etc.
