No. I've written up nothing on the E-510 since I was not one of the early buyers. I wanted to wait until I could purchase a body only.

Same here ... then of course I bought the two lens kit when it came time. Go figure. In any event, the 'toy' lenses perform very well and make a fine 'travel' setup.

I've noticed a lot of sites that are selling the dual lens kits are using the old 40-150mm pic. In fact all of the pictures I've seen in local flyers have been using the old picture too, even though the specs are for the new camera. Maybe Olympus's marketing people sent out the wrong photo?

While I do find the E-510 liveview implementation a bit disappointing and didn't think I'd really use it that much (sticking to the E-330 for that purpose) I've just come back from a two week holiday of the E-510 only and there were quite a few times I find the liveview useful.

For example, sitting at a restaurant(almost all of which were scenic rooftop places) and wanting to take a pic which needed a longer exposure, I just dumped the camera on the table and set it all using liveview. I could have bent down and used the viewfinder but frankly it was a lot easier and convenient to simply set it up using the main screen. As always, I found myself in occasions where it simply wasn't practical using the viewfinder or even possible which left me grateful for the liveview function. I did use the viewfinder for most my shooting but as liveview doesn't detract from the camera in any way I was glad to have it.

I thought with Canon implementing a liveview feature on their topend model people would stop seeing it as simply being a feature for people used to it on P&S cameras as it's definitely a useful tool to have.

I buy body only the day before yesterday, even with body only is just pricelist item here in the Czech Republic. I found shop (Olympus top rated shop Aaron - http://prodejny.olympus.cz/Pages/InternetDealers.aspx) where were no problem sold body only from double zoom kit. Try it in your local store.

Thank you for the idea. Unfortunately, I no longer have a local store and now purchase via the internet.
