    Default Olympus introducing DMC-L10 sister?

On this page from Olympus Korea (where they announce a launching show for the camera on October the 21st) you can see the outline of another camera, which looks quite a lot like the Panasonic DMC-L10. Will Olympus introduce a DMC-L10 sister? Anyone speaking Korean to confirm/take the edge off?

Given the likely price differential between the E-510 and the E-3 I think there's definitely room for another body. A sort of armoured E-510 with an upgraded AF system (and more that 3 AF points but no pressing need to go as high as 11) would cause a big itch in my wallet.
    Best wishes

Looks like the outline of the E-3 to me.

The outline even shows the wired remote connector and the flash pop-up button.

Let's hope this is the announcement for a sales launch of the E-1 on October 21, it would then be a very fast action by Olympus since the model presentation is said to be on October 17. However, it might just be wishful thinking.

    Cheers, Jens.

Jens, I ment the outline lower on the page in the left purple box. That camera does have different mirrorbox as the 'E-3' and it does look like the L10 in my opinion, but I could well be wrong...

Yes, you are right, that is a different mirror hump which I haven't seen on Oly dSLRs before. I guess an L10 sister would be plausible since they have an active dSLR collaboration with Panasonic. The question then is how would differ from the existing bodies?

    Cheers, Jens.

No word about it, but maybe Olympus has been keeping a very good secret.
What if the E-3 is only the mid tier but then its another super high end camera.
Or what if we all really know nothing.
I would imagine that we will start speculating on the next camera within a day of this camera hitting the market.... Its part of what drives people to the web.

Default Could it be the SP-560UZ?

    Attachment 6193Attachment 6194

Although it is written "DSLR" in the ad, maybe it is just the SP-560UZ they are making PR for?

'The natural alternative to a DSLR - get a SP-560UZ!' or something like that?

Jens, I think you could well be right, but if it is the SP-560UZ, why would Olympus make that camera so vague? And if I'm correct the SP-560UZ is pritty new, so it won't be its successor, i guess. Ah well, we just have to sit and wait.
