    Hi ,
I put the 8GB Adata Speedy card into the multi digital media manager on my emachines T5026 computer- in the cf slot and as I say it probably took a little over a minute to complete. I realize that the " speedy " card is not a fast card , but I thought that it might have formatted a little quicker than that.I don't know if this is normal due to the slow speed of the card and it's relative high capacity. Your x266 card is very very much faster than the card I am trying to format.
    Thanks

Hope it works out for you after a clean format in the media card reader on your PC. Take a bunch of test pics and try downloading them a few times...

I hope you had good luck with yours. I picked up two 4gig A-Data cards for my E510. Tried both and on about the second or third image I got an error dialog box which said "failed to transfer the image". Tried USB cable and card reader - both the same. This is despite first formatting the cards in-camera. All my other cards had no problem. It says "speedy" on the A-Data card.

On my E-500 I get the CF card error message on the LCD.

I have successfully used Adata 16GB Speedy CF cards in an E1 and E510, as well as a sound recorder. But I haven't filled them yet !

I noticed that when I tried to erase the card that particular screen did not come up, only the format screen on the LCD display. How did you manage to make them work in the e510? Did you format it in-camera?

    Okay, what's the maximum capacity for my E510, 4, 8, 16GB etc.?
