Default Spring Flowers on the "Zero Dust" BBS (for Oly users)

Here is another Japanese site that I enjoy checking out, the "Gomi Zero" ("Zero Dust") board. Great name, huh?:

This is a good time of year to look, because the early spring flowers are out in south-central Japan, and you can see lots of cherry blossom images. Those of us in Hokkaido won't get to shoot those for another month or more, and we don't have the pretty Japanese-style buildings in the background.

Last year I posted a technique thread about how Japanese shooters like to use extreme foreground bokeh to frame their flower shots. You can see plenty of nice examples of this on the Gomi Zero board. This example in particular grabbed my eye. Hope you enjoy.

I really think that it is an interesting effect I tried it a couple times myself this last year. Nothing as good as you have done.
I really like that link, as well as this one -

I liked that one, too, Tony.

Japan has a lot of tourist spots where flowers of different colors are planted in layers like that, almost as far as the eye can see. They make nice pictures. Lavender, tulip, and sunflower fields are popular up where I am.
