And the date of this news note, 1 April, doesn't tell you anything?

The sad thing is, of course, that this really is just April Fool, as we users are mostly locked into one system, rather than actually have some kind of open framwork that could make our costly equipment more interchangeable and the whole business more competitive pricewise.

(If you belong to those who think there actually is a lot of competition in the photo business, look at the accessory prices of Oly and ask why some small piece of plastic cost 100 dollars.)
